Diplomatic/Political Relations 

Formal diplomatic relations between Sri Lanka and Colombia were established on 30 September 1988. The Colombian Embassy in New Delhi is concurrently accredited to Sri Lanka, while the Sri Lanka Embassy in Brasilia is concurrently accredited to Colombia.
